Kelly Gregory

Kelly is Texas born and bred; earning a degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology from Texas State University. He found his love for cooking at his first summer job, where he thrived in the environment and came to realize it was his passion. He attributes his success to his first chef and long-time friend P.C., without him he may never have realized his potential!
Kelly’s first Chef’s position was in San Diego in a fine dining restaurant. There he met his future wife, Donna, who was also from Texas. The two of them couldn't resist the call of home and returned to Houston. Once home, he took a cook position that led to Head Chef, then General Manager, and ultimately he became an integral part of the success of a major concept change where he mastered all the steps in opening new stores. He is unique in that he brings both front of the house and back of the house experience to the table.

Kelly met the owner of their local DoubleDave’s at kid karaoke night. They became fast friends and she told him about a position available at the DoubleDave's corporate office. Kelly realized he had a wealth of knowledge to offer and applied for the job. He attributes his DoubleDave's success to Victoria (for the lead) and Joey Bramwell (for taking a leap of faith on someone with no pizza experience).
Kelly has been in the DoubleDave's family for 10 years. He loves the freedom & creativity in developing our "Pizza of the Month" recipes, sandwiches, and other new products. Kelly loves teaching new franchisees and opening new stores. He loves telling customers why DoubleDave's is different from all the others- first and foremost that DoubleDave's makes their dough fresh all-day, every day.
