While delicious things are always a priority, we also feel strongly about the environmental and social responsibility. That’s why we applaud Tyson’s commitment to corporate sustainability. Check out a few of their forward-thinking initiatives.

SMART H2O

Water conservation effort, along with several facility closures, have led to a 16.3% reduction in the number of gallons of water used per pound of finished product.

WASTE NOT, RECYCLE MORE

Tyson’s joint venture, Dynamic Fuels, operates a plant that converts low-grade, inedible fats and greases into renewable transportation fuel. Once fully operational, the company anticipates the plant will produce up to 75 million gallons of bio-fuel annually over the next four years.

HALT HUNGER

Tyson celebrated 10 years of involvement in hunger relief in September 2010 and has donated almost 79 million pounds of protein during that time. Their KNOW Hunger campaign also encourages people to KNOW the scope of hunger in their own communities and get involved in relief efforts.
